An exclusive rafting program in the exotic Lake of Periyar, the plan is said to be a full day plan that starts around 8 am in the morning from Boat Landing.  The medley of habitats is traversed before the group of rafters gets into the bamboo made rafts. On the way to river rafting, the rafters get to see a beauty of nature in its full bloom through the bird life as well as arboreal animals. Apart from this, the rafters get to experience the site of the panoramic view of lush green hills with elephants, sambar and gaur. They can be easily viewed on the edges of the lake making it possible for the people to enjoy a wonderful bamboo rafting in Periyar tiger reserve experience.
